Insight mindfulness meditation
Pathway to Mindfulness’ practice is grounded in Vipassana meditation – translated insight mindfulness meditation – but includes several other meditation disciplines for a robust practice that can change patterns of behavior. When practiced daily, it is the basis for living an engaged, healthier and mindful life both personally and professionally.
Meditations are unguided, so they can be done anywhere, at any time, no apps required.
Where to start?
…with the breath, necessary for life and something we all take for granted. Tuning into your breath is the first step on your journey to leading a more mindful, insightful life. It is also critical for changing your critical thoughts and for showing yourself loving kindness and practicing self-care.
We train you to remember to return to your breath during meditation, and that alone builds brain matter and powers up your brain — no matter your age.
Try this
Sit upright in your chair. Now relax your shoulders, your jaw, your forehead, the places where we usually store all our tension. We invite you to take a breath right now. It doesn’t have to be deep or forced. Simply breathe. Now close your eyes and treat yourself to another breath. And then a few more.
Now open your eyes.
How did that feel? Hopefully, you are more relaxed and the tension in your shoulders and face has lessened. The essence of life is breath, but do you ever pay attention to your breath?
We will teach you how to breathe, just one of the many ways you will begin to experience your life like never before.
